WE are formulating our literary works in here, and learning more from Kendra and Matilda about the COLLECTIVE MEMOIR.
WE are also refreshing and renewing our work on our ART JOURNAL COLLABORATION PROJECT in connection and collaboration with our connected Websites and Group Sites. Stay tuned for much to do about our ART & LITERARY JOURNALS!
For the months of JANUARY and FEBRUARY ~ 2009, WE will be starting out with ROMARE BEARDEN as our springboard for inspiration and motIvation to create our 2009 ART JOURNALS and LITERARY JOURNALS.
As some of us prepare for the next phase of what we started in last year's 2008 National Novel Writing Month in November, we will be increasing in literary fever! We have lots of NOVEL COVERS to finish, edits to do, and other PUBLISHING pursuits to work on!
Many of our CLOAKED Members WON NaNoWriMo in 2008!
So as you can imagine, WE were dancing with JOY!
We will be keeping everyone in here updated on what we are doing, and we hope that many CLOAKED Members will participate in 2009 National Novel Writing Month this year. It is a good way to get started working on writing a NOVEL if you have never done so before. Writing a NOVEL in 30 days is quite intense, yet a lot of FUN. You'll be amazed at yourself!
There are also other upcoming Events that we will keep you posted on -- Like Script Frenzy; Writing Contests; CONFERENCES; WORKSHOPS; and other fun and exciting LITERARY EVENTS right here on our CLOAKED WEBSITE!

CLOAKED
In here it's all about the WRITING. It's about the intricate workings of the letters.
You'll find some things here that are CLOAKED. But other things are transparent.
You'll have to be the judge. You'll have to look at things in a very different way ~ or maybe not. Maybe you will just SEE things as they really are. Maybe you'll have transparent vision. Transparent vision doesn't struggle to SEE ~ it just IS. It just SEES. And, it SEES clearly; effortlessly ~ endlessly ~ to the core of things right from the beginning and then forward to the end.
CLOAKED ~ somewhat hidden on one level, and then slightly revealed on another.
As the spheres rotate . . . the veiling comes off. No longer cloaked to you. No longer hidden from me.
I can't SEE myself if I'm CLOAKED. But then, neither can you.

To: ALL MEMBERS~AUTHORS OF CLOAKED
You will find the listing of each CLOAKED MEMBER~AUTHOR under the "AUTHORS" tab above. Each Member of CLOAKED is an AUTHOR here on our Site. WE have many Members here who have published works, books, and/or writings in the Library of Congress. Amongst us are also EMERGING AUTHORS. We have many members who are launching their NEW Literary works this year. 2009 promises to be extra special for each one of us.
For those joining us who are just launching out into the Literary arena, get comfortable with the title of AUTHOR. It is what you desire to do, it is what you do best, and it is what you will turn your FULL ATTENTION to this year. There is no better time to create great literary works that you have had in your heart than NOW. There is no need to wait, no need to procrastinate, it is just time to DO and BE.
As you know, here on our Site, WE FOCUS on our Genres. We each have areas of interest that we gravitate to. Though our interests and Genres change, we can find a place of comfort here on CLOAKED. Here we are able to develop our "gifts" and "talents" and we have others to share our writings with. We come here to find interesting writings, writing tips, videos of interest, and a place to share our literary works in progress.
WRITING is what we have a PASSION for. We explore new areas of interest here, and learn from others about why they have a passion for their specific Genre.
This year we will be exploring, developing, and sharing our many areas of interest. . . .
Kendra and Matilda will be presenting interesting CONFERENCES, WORKSHOPS, and RADIO BROADCASTS this year. You can hear interesting Interviews from them live and as replays. You'll be learning more from them about writing MEMOIRS. And, more specifically, about the journey and the process on the road to MEMOIR completion.
Each Member~AUTHOR of CLOAKED will find their personal writing space under the "WRITING ROOM" tab above. Get comfortable in your writing space. Design your "WRITING ROOM" any way you want. Make it uniquely "you". It is a place for you to get comfortable as you bask in your literary creativity. Your fellow CLOAKED Members will come and visit your Writing Room to see how you are progressing from time to time, and to leave you messages on your "Comment Wall" about what is NEW and EXCITING in the literary world, and with them personally. Be creative in your space. Relax your mind in your space, and emerge with a wealth of new found ideas for your literary journey.
Be on the look~out for VIDEOS from Jennifer N. to help you with your education in the literary field. jennifer will keep you posted on what is going on in the land of design ~ book cover design, as well as show you how to go about creating Literary Photo Essays -- which are educational and instructional. Some of Jennifer's Literary Photo Essays involve nature ~ others involve ART & DESIGN. You will definitely find them all very interesting.
Tracey W. will give us tips on writing, her journey, and from time to time tell us what is going on in the world of POETRY.
RENDA will show us her talent and skill on how to develop COLLABORATIVE IDEAS for writing and engaging others in the process.
Expect NEW IDEAS from Mary on Healing and Shamanism. You will learn about Mary's journey, and you will be able to ask questions, and interact with Mary with regard to the HEALING process, and the distinct way that she practices her area of expertise.
ALL OF THE MEMBERS of CLOAKED will be contributing in many areas and in many ways, so remember to come back here to the "MAIN ENTRY" to SEE and HEAR about NEW DEVELOPMENTS.
This year we will also be renewing and refreshing our skills with regard to our ART JOURNAL COLLABORATION PROJECT which will start out in the months of JANUARY and FEBRUARY of 2009 with inspiration and motivation from Fine Artist, ROMARE BEARDEN. . . .

Our ART JOURNAL COLLABORATION PROJECT will be on~going all year long, and our other connected and collaborating Websites and Groups around the Web World will join in by way of providing interesting examples of beautiful ART JOURNALS. The Literary factor in the creation of ART JOURNALS cannot be understated . . .
There will be a RSS feed here in our CLOAKED Site from Artistic Minds® on Ning specifically related to our ART JOURNAL COLLABORATION PROJECT, and the creation of ART JOURNALS.
